Ureilite is a rare type of meteorite that has a unique mineralogical composition very different from that of other meteorites. Compared to most other meteorites, ureilites tend to have a high percentage of carbon in the form of graphite and nanodiamonds, these diamonds tend to be no more than a few micrometers in diameter
